I started to answer a question on the DotNetNuke forums today, and it turned into a longer post than what I expected to make, so I thought it may also be of interest to anyone reading here.

If you get this error in DotNetNuke when trying to login, the problem may be that the Portal does not have a default timezone set.

**Update: The above download only works for versions 3.1/4/1 and below.  I'm still trying to get one to work for 3.3/4.3 since things were changed in the way that the ClientAPI works with UserControls.

Also, if you can get access to your DB then you can run a query to fix this problem.

Update Portals Set LoginTabId=null Where PortalId=xx

xx is the id of the portal (probably 0).

Just found an issue with my Catalook store where downloaded zip files were getting corrupted with winzip saying "this is not a valid archive". I downloaded trough FTP and the archive opened fine. Luckily it dawned on me that the HTTP Compression module might be causing the problem since it would be trying to Gzip a PKzip file.

That's right, it's out. Step on over to http://www.dotnetnuke.com/default.aspx?tabid=125 and get yourself a copy. No major enhancements for this release, but many bugs were exterminated. For those interested in a summary of the changes, here is the ouput from Gemini:
